SERVICES WE PROVIDE

Three times per week (Wednesdays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at Noon, and Sundays at 2:30pm), we distribute quality meats, vegetables and breads, which have been donated to us by generous stores in the Hampton Roads Community.

Each week, ChainBreakers provides clothing and shoes to needy families in our community, at no charge. Apparel is available in children's and adults' sizes.

The Wise Up program was designed to help at-risk youth reach their full academic and social potential. The program provides tools to ensure that each participant has what he or she needs to achieve academic excellence.

The program provides:

Free school supplies to students

Mentorship for at-risk youth

Tutoring in the areas of math and reading

Computer-aided tutoring exercises and internet access for academic research

After school activities such as recreational sports

Extracurricular enrichment programs in the arts (dance, drama, and music instruction)

ChainBreakers, Inc. is a tax-exempt, non-profit community organization located in Portsmouth, Virginia.

FACT:
We have been serving the community since 2001 providing services such as Narcotics Anonymous meetings, food outreach, and various arts programs.
